Dave Clegg

It is with great sadness that I have to report that one of our members Dave Clegg, died on Thursday last (13-05-2004) whilst playing in a bowling match at the Top Park green. Dave will be greatly missed by us all and our sympathies of course go to all his family.
Funeral details are :
Thursday 20th May @ Christ Church, Moreton 11-15am
then onto Landican

Vics players excel for League Team

Eight Vics players represented the Wallasey Association League Team yesterday in the Federation League match against Ormskirk. The home leg held at the Vics green was won but unfortunately the away defeat means Ormskirk ran out overall winners. Vics players Home: Robby Franklin 21-10
Karl Sherbrooke 21-07
Away: Matty Gilmore 21-18
Tony Vyskocil 21-20
Ian Sherbrooke 21-10
Neil Sherbrooke 21-11
Unfortunately our two other representatives were both beaten this time out.
